The DG509ADY+: Each switch presents a maximum 450 Ohm on-resistance, with channel-to-channel matching held to 27 Ohm — tight enough that the insertion loss across paths in a multiplexed signal chain stays consistent, which matters when the downstream ADC is looking for a stable source impedance.
Supply rails and switching performance that define the signal budget
The dual supply range spans ±4.5V to ±18V, giving the switch enough headroom to handle ±10V analog signals without clipping. The maximum switching times (ton 1.5µs, toff 1µs) set the multiplexer update rate — at 1.5µs per channel switch, the full four-channel scan completes in 6µs, fast enough for most data-acquisition front ends running below 100 kSPS. Off-channel leakage is held to 1 nA max, and the off-capacitance (CS(off) 5pF, CD(off) 12pF) keeps the signal path from loading the source when the channel is deselected. The 12pF drain capacitance on the common output node is the dominant term in the settling time — pair it with a 10 kOhm source and the RC time constant is 120 ns, well within the switching window.

Shipped in tube packaging, it is suited for prototype builds and low-to-medium volume production where reel feed is not required. ROHS3 compliant, with no exemption conflicts for EU-market equipment.
