Single-channel SPST-NO switch with wide supply range
The Maxim Integrated DG418DY+ is a single-pole, single-throw normally-open analog switch in an 8-SOIC package. It handles single-supply rails from 10 V to 30 V or dual supplies from ±4.5 V to ±20 V, making it a straightforward fit for industrial analog signal routing, data acquisition front-ends, and test equipment where the signal swing matches the supply headroom. On-resistance is 35 Ω maximum, with channel-to-channel matching held to 3 Ω max — tight enough for gain-setting and multiplexed applications where Rds variation would shift the transfer function. Switching times are 175 ns turn-on and 145 ns turn-off, suitable for audio crosspoints, relay-replacement, and low-frequency multiplexing. Off-leakage is 250 pA max, and charge injection is 3 pC, both low enough to preserve accuracy in sample-and-hold or high-impedance sensor paths. Crosstalk is rated at -85 dB at 1 MHz, giving good channel isolation for multi-channel signal chains where bleed-between would corrupt the measurement.
