Quad SPST-NC switch in a 16-TSSOP footprint
The DG411CUE+ is a quad single-pole single-throw normally-closed (SPST-NC) analog switch from Analog Devices, housed in a 16-TSSOP package. Each of the four independent switches presents a maximum 45 Ohm on-resistance, with channel-to-channel matching held to 3 Ohm max — tight enough for multiplexing precision analog signals without gain errors between channels. The 16-TSSOP (4.40 mm width) footprint is a common surface-mount package for mixed-signal boards, and the tube packaging suits hand-assembly or low-volume production runs without reel fees.
Switching speed and signal integrity for precision analog paths
Maximum turn-on time is 175 ns and turn-off time is 145 ns, fast enough for audio multiplexing, sample-and-hold front-ends, or relay-replacement in low-frequency switched-capacitor circuits. The 5 pC charge injection means the switch injects a small charge packet into the signal path during switching — relevant for high-impedance nodes where the injected voltage (Q/C) could exceed the LSB of a downstream ADC. Off-isolation crosstalk is rated at -85 dB at 1 MHz, and channel capacitance (CS(off), CD(off)) is 9 pF typical. The 250 pA max off-leakage current keeps signal droop negligible in sample-and-hold circuits with hold times under a few milliseconds.
