Quad SPST-NC analog switch in a through-hole DIP
The Maxim DG201ACJ+ is a quad single-pole single-throw normally-closed (SPST-NC) analog switch in a 16-pin DIP package. Each of the four switches connects a common terminal to a normally-closed output when the control logic is low, and opens when high. The part is built for general-purpose analog signal routing, audio muting, and data acquisition front-ends where through-hole assembly is preferred. Key specs: 200 Ohm max on-resistance, 600 ns turn-on and 450 ns turn-off, -90 dB crosstalk at 100 kHz, 5 nA max off-leakage, and 20 pC charge injection. It runs on dual supplies from ±4.5 V to ±18 V, or can be configured for single-supply operation within the same total voltage range. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C, making it a commercial-grade part suited for benchtop instruments, audio gear, and industrial control panels that stay indoors. The 16-DIP (0.300" width) through-hole package is socket-friendly — a field-swap candidate if you carry a DIP extractor in the kit.
