The 1.2 Ohm Rds(on) at 10 V drive means about 3 W conduction loss at full current — the 70 W package dissipation limit gives you thermal margin if the PCB copper and airflow are decent. ## DPAK — field-swappable with a hot-air station The TO-252 (DPAK) package is a surface-mount workhorse. A rework tech can swap this on site with a hot-air station and solder paste; no BGA reflow profile needed.
