The switch is controlled by a logic-level On/Off input (non-inverting) and requires no external Vcc supply — the gate drive is self-biased from the input voltage. ## Slew-rate control and fault protection for hot-swap and capacitive loads Slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush current when the switch connects a capacitive load or a downstream rail with bulk decoupling. This prevents the upstream supply from drooping during power-up — useful in hot-swap, USB port, or peripheral-rail sequencing applications.
