The asymmetric sink/source ratio favours fast turn-off, which reduces cross-conduction dead-time margin in hard-switched bridges. The 40 ns rise and 20 ns fall times keep switching losses manageable at moderate frequencies. ## Through-hole package and temperature grade Housed in an 8-pin DIP with 0.300-inch body width, this part is through-hole only — no surface-mount variant in the IR2184 family.
